blog followers have been asking me about various personal aspects of my life

Because People Keep Asking
{ B P K A for short! }

we will be covering the following topics:
general FAQ
everyday makeup look
favourite music
my most-loved items of clothing
*and other possible topics*

some videos will be mixed up in that as well!

Tomorrow will be the first BPKA !

Well. I guess that's it. The past five years of my life have been completely changed and enriched through the theatre program at GDCI. Whether it's meeting new people, travelling to far away competitions, or performing in front of a familiar-faced crowd, every single moment of this journey has been an interesting one.
It's had its ups and downs,
side to sides,
illnesses to injuries to surgeries,
from lesbian vampires
to crazy adjudicators
and an incredible amount of wtf omg moments

We've had our fair share of scandals,
love triangles { or pentagons, whatever floats your boat }
fights with friends
(and foes)
a cursed play
a homegrown play
a play by my best friend
and a few that made me go "WHY ON EARTH AM I DOING THIS TO MYSELF WHY IS THIS HAPPENING I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY I KEEP COMING BACK AND DOING THIS DRAMA THING"

but every year i came back
and i complained { just a little }
and i worked for it { a lot }
and i kept pushing through the annoying and enraging and stupid and painstaking parts
because i loved it

At the end of the day; drama, acting is what I love to do. The pent-up anxiety of waiting in the green room; doing your makeup, combing your hair. How smelly your costume is from the 10 previous performances, it's no longer B.O, though. It's the perfume of your character. That rush of energy you get whilst listening to your playlist, getting all pumped up and stuff. You get your call, walk down the hall with the cast you call a family, prepare to set up.
*Set up*
Squeeze the hands and bodies of your sisters and brothers, we can do this.
"Break a fcuking leg, everyone"
"Naakeed fat guy"
*slaps face*

That first step on to the stage is lit from behind, like a firework.
That synergy.

I think the best part, though, is that moment after the last line is said. The light come down, you're all in tableau. And then there's that silence. It's all of the energy that you've expelled, getting soaked up by the audience. And when those lights come back up, woah... They hit you right back with it.

It gets me every time.
I am so blessed to love something as much as I love acting.

So I guess it isn't the end. I'm still going to act { for god's sake I am doing a double major of Asian Languages and theatre! }
But it still makes me sad.
I will miss everyone.
And the drama room,
and Mr. Armour,
and that stinking office.
But it's okay.

Thanks cheesy tumblr photo, you always know how to say the right thing.

This journey can be described in one word, quite simply
Justice..
Yep. That's it.

Justice.
